RDR2: Dinosaur Bone Locations and Collection Tracking
Find dinosaur bone locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode, with completion tracking and access notes.
View on the mapDinosaur bones are Story Mode collectibles
Investigating dinosaur bone locations is a Story Mode collection activity. Enable only Dinosaur Bones on the map to see all 30 locations. These are separate from the rotating Collector locations in Red Dead Online.
Check whether your progress allows access
Not every marked location is safe to visit in your current chapter. Return later to areas that are restricted or dangerous. Zoom in to inspect nearby paths and whether the location is above or below a cliff.
Keep discovery and tracking separate
Mark a location complete after investigating the bones in the game, and handle any related submission steps separately in-game. Browser completion checks are exploration notes and do not change mission progress.
